You will support the business development manager in managing resourcing and bids across the company. Working closely with the CEO and other managing partners, you will ensure the business makes appropriate strategic decisions factoring in project and business requirements as well as individuals development needs and preferences.

Requirements 

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent​
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional services environment, ideally with experience in resourcing
  • Have the right to work in the UK

  • This role is primarily responsible for managing internal resourcing deployment, ensuring we are able to effectively deliver many competing client and internal demands
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to have a good understanding on how sales forecasts impact staffing, and further understand staffing’s impact on financial management and reporting
  • A continuous improvement mindset to challenge current ways of working and to seek process and efficiency improvements

Managing delivery

  • Responsible for owning the internal resourcing processes. This includes running the weekly resourcing committee, communicating with staff members change in deployment/projects and ensuring all staff have clear understanding of projects they have been assigned
  • Managing our pool of associates which includes issuing and managing associate contracts, and keeping track of their availability and skillset
  • Growing our pool of associates to ensure we have sufficient flexible capacity to meet demand
  • Design resourcing KPIs and utilise CMAP reporting functionality to provide insights into resource utilisation, demand and forecasting
  • Managing our opportunity tracker, this includes logging new opportunities, capturing key information about each opportunity, and recording and coding feedback we receive following bid submission
  • Supporting the bid close down process which ensures all files are correctly labelled and tagged on SharePoint and that key material we have created is curated and stored in the proposal resources library for future use
  • Attending and supporting the Business Development Steering Group meetings

Business Focus

  • Maintain CMAP, our resourcing and CRM system

Communication

  • Communicate resourcing decisions to all staff
  • Provide regular communication to our network of associates
  • Act as the point of contact for all resource administration queries

  • Ability to coordinate large amount of information from various sources
