Our Managers are responsible for managing projects on a day-to-day basis, leading a team of Consultants and Analysts to deliver high quality work and regularly interacting with the client. They bring a background in consultancy or equivalent experience in delivering in NHS or other public sector settings as well as a proven track record of change.

  • Two to three years’ experience at Consultant level at a top tier firm or five to seven years’ of relevant professional experience

Problem Solving

  • Manage and lead problem solving for entire engagement, breaking down into manageable workstreams as appropriate to team members
  • Make use of storyline and draft documents to drive problem solving
  • Ensure robust end-to-end analysis is produced by team
  • Plan problem solving meetings with Partners to make best use of time on behalf of whole team

Managing delivery

  • Project manage delivery of work to agreed scope, quality, timeframe and resources
  • Deliver high quality, client ready end products
  • Plan for and ensure effective preparation for client meetings
  • Own the day-to-day management of client interactions
  • Support Consultants and Analysts to know when and how to effectively flag concerns or issues in delivery

Change leadership

  • Support facilitation of senior leaders in organisations to make a difference and influence people in the system
  • Support team in developing awareness of the impact a change has on leaders and organisations
  • Plan facilitation of focus groups and workshops
  • Supports client in developing innovative solutions

Business focus

  • Build constructive relationships with clients, demonstrating empathy for them and their business
  • Identify new opportunities with existing clients
  • Take responsibility for one area of corporate development


  • Lead appropriate client meetings to deliver effective results and positive relationships
  • Independently lead interviews
  • Clearly present and communicate findings in a range of media and to clients
  • Manage effective production of complete polished documents from beginning to end

  • Develop an expert knowledge in a field
  • Teach team in effective use of tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) to clearly present and communicate findings Demonstrate an understanding of healthcare and public services
