Qualifications and experience required

Minimum five years’ experience in management consulting or eight to ten years in the field (NHS) in a programme or project based role.

Client leader and team leader with an ability to structure and lead problem solving for the whole team.

Problem Solving

Frame problem solving for the team for the whole project

Own overall story for whole engagement and help team understand how their work contributes to it

Coach Managers, Consultants and Analysts in problem solving to build their skills

Ensure all analysis produced is robust

Managing Delivery

Accountable for the delivery of the project to agreed scope, quality, timeframe and resources

Deliver high quality, client ready end products

Plan for and ensure effective delivery of critical meetings

Change Leadership

Ability to lead, facilitate and influence senior leadership in organisations to make a difference and influence people in the system

Business Focus

Make a distinctive and measurable contribution to developing the business

Support and lead the development of proposals and new client situations

Develop long-term client relationships

Support Partners in leading relationships with clients and partner organisations

Communication

Independently lead senior client interactions

Plan how to communicate with range of clients using different materials (e.g. meetings, workshop, memo)

Provide leadership to internal communications across the organisation

Skills and Knowledge

Develop and maintain expert knowledge in the field

Provide coaching to Managers, Consultants and Analysts to use tools effectively (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) to clearly present and communicate findings

Take a lead role in developing and capturing the knowledge base

Team Work

Ability to work on own and contribute effectively and appropriately within a team

Help make the most effective use of Partners to benefit client and team

Lead and coach Managers, Consultants and Analysts particularly around problem solving and communication

Own the day-to-day management of the team, client and content.
