Introduction

G-Cloud framework is an agreement between government and suppliers, designed for use by all public sector organisations, including agencies and arm’s length bodies to procure digital services and support. It is a framework consisting of a series of framework agreements with suppliers, from which public sector organisations can buy services without needing to run a full tender or competition procurement process.

Note on contract details:

  • Contracts usually last 24 months
  • There is an option for two additional extensions of 12 months each
  • If there are substantial changes to requirements of the service and/or value of the contract is increased by more than 10%, the contract must be cancelled, and the buying process restarted
