This snapshot provides an overview of the 10 priority areas of the 2022/23 planning guidance released by the NHS in December 2021. The priorities are similar to those outlined for the second half of 2021/22, but do include important differences.
The objectives set out in this document are based on a scenario where COVID-19 returns to a low level and where the NHS is able to make significant progress to restoring services and reducing backlogs.
